Having just discovered the figure-flattering miracle of Jag Jeans right before Xmas, I am almost embarrassed at how many of these pants I have managed to accumulate in this brief time! But since they are pretty much all that I wear, I was eager to begin building a collection of crop pants for summer. I bought 3pairs of the Petite Marion Crops, which are great, but I was dismayed at the limited color options--all dark. So I was thrilled to see the azure and pink options in the Petite Echo (though it would be nice for those of us wearing Petite sizes to have the full range of color choices available in Regular sizes).I did have a little trepidation in ordering the Echos due to criticisms of some reviewers. However, I was happy to find that, despite living in a very hot and humid Southern location, I am not troubled by the thickness of the Dolce Twill--they just feel well-tailored and substantial to me, not hot. And the cut didn't feel too wide or loose, perhaps because I have a curvy body type. I did feel, at my height of 5' 2", size 10P, that the legs could have been a couple of inches shorter. But these actually fit me better than the Petite Marions, which seemed to be snugger than my other 10P Jags.My only complaint is that, on the pink pair, the stitching where the pant is joined to the waistband is a bit funky--kind of an uneven roll rather than a flat seam, as in the blue pair I received. If it were a matter of simply taking them back to a store, I would return them. However, the defect isn't that noticeable when the pants are on, and I usually am wearing a top that covers the waistband area anyway.Would love to see a shorter capri option in a variety of bright colors, like lime and cobalt, for spring/summer. Bring them on, Jag!Unfortunately I have to return these because there were a couple of surprises. First this is NOT a summer material - more transitional & too heavy for warm weather, which does not work for me as they are too short for winter and too heavy for summer. Secondly they are very LOW waisted and because they "hold" you in (which is good) it shoves everything up and out which causes a "muffin top" if you have any extra skin around your middle at all so it makes them unwearable for me. If you are slim and live in a climate that is not terribly warm in the summer, then you will probably love them. They are nicely made and it is a good material. I tried both the "marion" and the "echo" and have the same problems with both of them.I love Jag jeans and love these. But, if you're super curvy and/or have a larger than normal butt, this brand may not be for you. I found this brand because I was trying on my mom's pants a while ago and fell in love. She wears petite being 5' 2", I absolutely don't at 5' 5". However, when it comes to the Jag Jeans crop pants, they're perfect length for me. I don't know if there's a length difference between crop and capris. But, if there is, these should be called petite crop/regular capris. In case you're wondering, my mom's a Baby Boomer and I'm Gen X.Flat waistband and pockets are a big plus. Fabric stretches and is comfortable. I'm 5'1", and wish the legs were shorter. Wearing them rolled up right now and don't like the look. I'll shorten them when I get home.fit as expected just don't like the look. its something a older person would wearJust thought they would be more fitted. I will wear them but differently than I expected.I love these pants!! Have several pair in different colors. Very comfortble and love the no-zipper and the perfect fit. You might think they would be either hard to pull on or too baggy. Their are neither. Fit is perfect and they don't stretch out like other all-cotton pants. Most comfortable and convenient pants I have.Don't like the shape at the bottom of the capris. They look much smaller in picture and I don't have small calves! Will be returning them this week.
